Walking around the Northern Quarter in Manchester with my partner yesterday, we stumbled across a new lifestyle store and coffee bar called Fig + Sparrow. Stocking a choice selection of goodies including items by Donna Wilson and my favourite local crafter, Nicola Rowlands, I managed to get my hands on a birthday present that I had my eye on in an online shop earlier in the week. The café is friendly and relaxed a served a delicious thirst quenching iced tea, perfect for such a hot summer day. After speaking to one of the lovely owners, it's obvious that they know and love great design. I'm excited to see what they have on their shelves the next time I visit!
